Narratè World-Storytelling Tea   

        I was given the unique opportunity to work for an Italian company while I studied in Italy. This company is called Narratè: a tea booklet company focused on inspiration through short stories while waiting for the tea infuses. This company is located on the northeastern side of Milan. I worked for this business from September to December and I completed 140 hours with this company. 

       

The two main jobs that I worked on during my internship:

  • Photos and videos of events and products

  • Organizing and posting social media posts

The two other jobs that I was asked to complete during my internship:

  • Inventory of products within the store

  • Taking photos of products in order for them to be put onto the company's website.

        This experience had changed me in many aspects of my life and I learned a lot about my self as a person trying to navigate my life in this world. It gave me a push out of my comfort zone when it came to working in another country and speaking in Italian. I had to rethink how I went about certain issues and problems. The biggest example of this was at the beginning of my internship while I was coming up with social media ideas, there was a lot that I had to change. I had to put into perspective the culture that I was in and the generational and the personality difference between me and my supervisor.
