MKT 3010
This was a class that focused on how to connect to the customer and promote a products. It discussed topics like the marketing mix: product, place, price, and promotion. It also talked about how we were to conduct market research and the strategy of pushing a product out and into the consumer market.
MKT 3020
The core focus of this class was consumer behavior. We looked at and learned about how consumers respond to what businesses sell. We looked at promotions that failed and discussed what made it fail and what the company did to fix it.
MKT 4270
The class emphasized the main details of marketing that businesses have to change in order to adhere and be desirable to the citizens of a different country. It showed me that things like culture and legislation can force a business to modify their marketing strategy.
ECON 2110
This class gave the foundation of what microeconomics is and how it is used. It was a class that focused on consumer behavior, economic reasoning, and business firms. It discussed how businesses and firms interact with each other, the government, and the consumers that they sell to.
ECON 3150
The two main focuses for this class were inflation and unemployment. In this class we looked at different countries around the world and compared them to each other on the issues of inflation and unemployment.
IB 343
This was a class that I took while studying abroad in Italy. It taught me how to apply moral and ethical standards to business decisions. It also helped me to understand how my own beliefs and values play a substantial role in business decisions.
MGT 2010
This taught me about the foundation of management and why businesses need management to survive and make a profit. It discussed topics like how management is to function, the main principles of an organization, and the behaviors of an organization.
